Position: Financial Professional - Insurance Sales Agent

Location: Los Angeles County | San Fernando Valley County | Orange County

We are looking for outgoing and responsible sales people for a referral driven sales job that is designed to help top performers earn top pay. Because there are so many carriers and plans available, we provide extensive training on product knowledge and tax planning strategies. Insurance Sales Agent/Producers at IMS will work directly with an experienced insurance agent and are paid on our top-rated commission system, which means that they are true entrepreneurs with virtually unlimited earnings potential.

Essential Functions:

  1. Ability to generate own personal leads with a minimum of 200 potential client list
  2. Work directly with experienced insurance agents for 1-on-1 field training
  3. Document and encode records regarding potential client in office database
  4. Provide required information and schedule appointment
  5. Develop and communicate recommendations for advancing the sales process with lead agent
  6. Obtain referrals in conjunction with marketing program to ensure you have sufficient leads
  7. Prepare life insurance illustrations with multiple companies and present quotes to clients
  8. Provide a high level of customer service to prospects and clients
  9. Effectively organize and track prospects and clients
  10. Meet minimum calls and achieve sales target

Requirements:

  • Preferably 2 years experience working P2P, B2B sales and cold calling
  • Possess active life insurance license and E&O coverage
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome sales barriers
  • Communicate effectively over the phone and provide excellent customer service 
  • Possess average computer skills (database utilization and Microsoft Office)
  • Thrive in a goal oriented, team atmosphere
  • Adhere to ethical, legal and insurance industry standards
